St. George Island - Mother's Day Weekend 2010 - Part 1

For Mother's Day weekend we went in on a beach house at St. George Island with two other families, who are friends and neighbors! We had a great time even though the beach can be a challenge with such young kids.

Jack ate lots of sand, but overall enjoyed his first real beach experience. Both kids enjoyed digging holes and sitting in them. Logan would dig a hole and Jack would climb in it. Jack would get mad when Logan tried to mess with it. It was pretty funny.

We brought our bikes and kayaks, so that was fun to use them again. Before kids, we biked and kayaked all the time. We just have to adjust to doing it all with 2 little guys joining also! Both mornings we went on a family bike ride and the boys loved it! One of the days, James and Logan went a little ways off the beach in kayaks and had a great adventure. They even got in the middle of a bunch of playing dolphins. Logan was soaked from the waves, but had a great time. When they got back to the beach he came running up to me and Jack while yelling about dolphins!

Overall it was a great trip and a fun time with friends! I've split the photos between 2 posts because there were so many good onese I had to share!
